Take a relaxing walk along the old city walls and past the ruins in the Valkhofpark. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Waal while you’re there

  2. 02 / Ooijpolder

Cycle to the Ooijpolder, which might well be the most beautiful cycling route in the Netherlands.

  3. 03 / De Commanderie

Kick back and relax at one of Nijmegen’s historical sites, built in the 12th century. During the summer it’s fantastic to sit in the garden.

  4. 04 / Kronenburger Park

Laze away the afternoon or read a book on the green grass of the Kronenburger Park. It’s no surprise that Frank Boeijen wrote a song about this wonderful park!

  5. 05 / Stevenskerk

This church, built in a mix of Romanesque and Gothic styles, is a sight to see! Climb up the tower for a fantastic view over Nijmegen and the region. There are also a few little antique stores around the church, which are definitely worth a visit.
